The AWCD welcomes women from the US, Canada, or Mexico; women whose husbands are US citizens; women who have lived in the US for at least a year. Additionally, women who are long-time employees of American companies or whose husbands are such employees are eligible for membership.
Regular membership costs €60 per year; discounts apply for country members, students and retired people.
Upon payment of membership dues, you will receive:
- Contact details for all activity coordinators.
- A print copy of "Hints for Living in Ireland", a newly updated book loaded with information for newcomers and their families relocating to Ireland. This will be sent to you in the post and you will have access to the on-line version.
- A subscription to the AWCD monthly newsletter delivered online but can be printed.
- AWCD Notes - Weekly email updates for members.
- A discount card for popular Dublin shops, including Avoca Handweavers, Blarney Woollen Mills, Exchange Bookshop in Dalkey, House of Ireland, Hughes & Hughes Books, Kilkenny Design Centre, Meadows & Byrne, R&A Hughes Booksellers at Nutgrove, and The Woollen Mills.
- The AWCD Yearbook, a directory of members updated twice annually.
- Membership in the AWCD Forum.
